Andrew Farnum is involved in investment management for CIFF. He is responsible for assessing delivery models and risks associated with investments and for collaborating with potential partners to ensure that funded initiatives have a high probability of success. Prior to joining CIFF, he worked for the Millennium Challenge Corporation, where he managed the implementation of private sector development projects in Benin, Georgia, Madagascar and Morocco. Andrew has also worked at Aqua International Partners, a $240 million private equity fund that invests in water-related projects in the developing world. He focused on investments in India and Latin America, and was a member of the Board of Directors of Jain Irrigation Systems, the largest irrigation company in India. He has also worked in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs, where he concentrated mainly on wireless mergers and initial public offerings. Andrew has a master’s degree in International Development (MPAID) from the Harvard Kennedy School and an AB in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.
